Bell & Ross Airborne



  The Bell and Ross BR01 Airborne is set to hit the replica scene for 2010.

  This watch, a limited edition from B & R, incorporates the traditional BR01 square design and a skull   image – an icon used liberally today in contemporary art and design.

  This watch is a tribute to those brave young men who fought in one of the toughest army corps,   particularly the US Airborne divisions. The Airborne divisions were born during the Second World War.   They were the first to be exposed to danger and the first ones to face death.Their most famous motto was   “Death from Above” symbolised by a skull that was a reminder to them of both their power and   vulnerability. Since then, the symbol has spread to other military regiments. It is often embossed on   uniforms patches or on fighter planes.

  With its contemporary look and hip incorporation of the ever-popular skull iconography you’ll be sure to see more than military-buffs sporting this watch.

The BR01 is 46 mm in diameter, synonymous with the basic B&R design. The dial is all black with photoluminescent hands and skull for optimum night
readability with a bracelet in rubber, leather, or heavy-duty synthetic fabric.

The case is available in Matt Black, Brushed Carbon Black, or Brushed Stainless Steel.
